Security Upgrade – Online Credit Card Payments
NORCAL Mutual has implemented (effective May 14) a security enhancement related to online credit card payments processed through MyNORCAL. The objective is more effective safeguarding of your credit card information.In the past you may have paid your premium by storing your credit card information on MyNORCAL and authorizing a new payment after logging in to the system. As a way to increase security for your personal information, we will no longer store any credit card numbers on our systems. NORCAL Mutual has partnered with a third-party credit card processing website to process online credit card payments going forward. This site has the highest levels of security in place to handle your transactions and we are confident in their services.
Please note that in order to make an online credit card payment, you still log-on to MyNORCAL and click “Pay Online.” You can then follow the simple instructions to process your credit card payment.
While we do recognize the convenience of storing credit card information online, this security enhancement is part of an important effort to more effectively guard your personal financial information.
